PE defeat for the Valke
The Valke nearly earned a victory when they met the EP Kings, at the Nelson Mandela Stadium, in Port Elizabeth, on Friday, September 20.

The game could have gone either way in the dying stages of the match, but it was the Kings that emerged victorious over the East Rand team.
The Valke currently are bottom of the Absa Currie Cup Division One log, but produced a much better display in the Eastern Cape.
The team led the game at halftime and upped their defence after letting in two early tries from the Kings.
The Valke looked set for a hiding from the Kings, but turned the game on its head after a yellow card for Kings lock Steven Sykes in the 30th minute allowed the team to score two tries from Sandile Ngcobo and flyhalf Jaco Oosthuizen, respectively.
An excellent try from the Kings, after 53 minutes and two more penalties, however, took the match away from the visitors and secured a 30-23 win for the Kings.
