Basketball play-offs held in Brakpan

The play-offs marked the end of the 2013 Ekurhuleni basketball season and some enthralling and high-paced basketball was the order of the day.

Spectators enjoyed the intense up-and-down action that the sport guarantees and the men’s and women’s teams provided interesting match-ups.

In the men’s division, it was the Kempton Knights who defeated the Gladiators in the final, while the Katlehong Bulls were the victors in the women’s final, against Spartan Breeze.

The junior men’s basketball play-offs will be held at the same venue, on Saturday, November 30.

The teams in action will be the Gladiators, Thrillers, Bulls, Wolves, Watts and Tembisa Rhinos.
