Super clash added to fight card
Pierre Botha will face Scotland’s Calum Murrie as the headline preliminary fight ahead of the double title fight main events.
Another exhilarating match-up has been added to the EFC 69 fight card set to take place at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena on April 28.
Murrie made an emphatic entrance to EFC, going three warring rounds with one of the organisation’s best, Boyd Allen.
Training out of Higher Level, alongside former EFC champ and current UFC featherweight Danny Henry, the Scotsman brings his own unique Taekwondo striking style, but it is his phenomenal submission skills that opponents should be most wary of.
A Tenth Planet Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) brown belt, Murrie can submit an opponent from any position.
Botha is a dominant force on the EFC featherweight roster.

A champion wrestler, he has represented South Africa on multiple platforms, has fought for the EFC featherweight title and beaten some of the best in the organisation.
Aggressive striking, non-stop pressure and powerful take-downs make Botha an extreme challenge.
With former heavyweight champion Ruan Potts as his head coach and training partner at Fangzz MMA, Botha continues to add to his arsenal.
Each athlete provides the perfect test for the other, a gauge of their deserved place in the upper reaches of the division.
This fight takes place as the prelim card headliner just ahead of the main card co-headlined by the EFC bantam and flyweight title fights and will be available live and free on the official EFC Facebook page.
