Geluksdal cricketers celebrated at awards
Special achievement awards for the players who performed the best in their respective disciplines in the 2017/2018 Easterns club cricket season were also awarded.
Now in their second season as a fully fledged club within the Eastern Cricket Union, Geluksdal Cricket Club held their second annual awards ceremony recently where each player who represents the club was awarded medals.
Logan Fortuin, chairman of Geluksdal Cricket Club, said: “We had a fun-filled night with the parents of the junior players also present and took the opportunity to parade a sample of our new playing kit for the upcoming season.

“The aim is always to say thank you to the players for their hard work and dedication throughout the season and to thank the parents for allowing their children to come and enjoy themselves by playing cricket.
“With our new executive team, announced at the awards evening, we now look forward to the new season to further build on our player base and to make huge strides in the respective leagues in which our teams will participate.”
