Parading prostitutes upset resident
Concerned resident writes by email: I am writing as a very concerned resident, living near the Brakpan Dam.
On a daily basis there are prostitutes parading up and down past the dam, and recently these ladies have been wandering into our neighbourhood.
I have called 10111 numerous times to report a lady who is standing on the corner of Hyland and Gladstone Streets.
I have also stopped to tell her that I am reporting her.
My concern is that we, as residents, just learn to accept the way these people operate and we do nothing to prevent it.
To the men picking up these woman: “Don’t be surprised if a picture of you picking up these woman, gets published.
If the Herald won’t publish it, I will print and distribute it all around town, and believe me your car registration number will be visible.
Don’t say you haven’t been warned.
To my fellow residents, stop turning a blind eye, and take that picture.”
