Non-stop laughter with Tumi and Friends

For those in need of a good laugh, head to Emperors Palace tomorrow and check out Tumi Morake and seven of South Africa’s funniest comedians take to the stage for a show that promises to keep audiences in stitches from start to finish.

Along with her reputation as the Queen of Comedy, Morake is also the host of a radio breakfast show, an actress, and brand ambassador.

Her edgy brand of comedy has earned her the headlining spot in a variety of national and international comedy gigs since her career kicked off in 2006.

The colourful group of comics joining Morake on stage for Tumi and Friends include comedy superstar Mpho Popps, who has headlined at some of the biggest comedy shows in South Africa.

Ndumiso Lindi will also make an appearance, bringing his unique blend of modern and traditional comedy to the evening.

The ‘loveable caveman’, Alan Committie, known for his latest hit comedy show, Love Factually, and Angel Campey, a relatively new face in the funny business will also join in on the fun, along with the winner of the 2011 Nando’s Comedy Showdown, Lihle “Lindzy” Msimang, who brings a vibrant and colourful energy to the stage.

Durban-born Sifiso Nene, who was the winner of the first So You Think You’re Funny competition in 2009, will also take to the stage to tickle funny bones, along with triple-threat, Tracey-Lee Oliver, who talents as a comedian, musician and actress are bound to keep audiences enthralled throughout her set.

The show takes place in the Centre Court and starts at 8pm.
