Legendary art guru Siphiwe Nkosi kept the audience in stitches during his narration of the show.

Upcoming and talented young dancers from across the City of Ekurhuleni left the audience yearning for more after a two- hour scintillating performance during the Ingoma Music and Dance theatre production held at the Germiston Theatre on Saturday.

Xolani Mthethwa of Mazibuye Emasisweni art group from Katlehong was in smiles after sharing the stage with some of the 58 cast of the play, written and directed by the industry’s great John Lata.

“This has been a great learning curve for me,” said Mthethwa.

“I have participated in a number of theatre productions over the years, but this one was different because while I was polishing my skills I got to learn many tricks of the trade from the legends, including discipline and the importance of living a healthy lifestyle so as to perform better on stage.”
