Enjoy a spirit-filled day of praise

All White Gospel Picnic announces Two Hours of Golden Worship brought to you by Standard Bank.

The All White Gospel Picnic, the biggest Gospel event of the year, takes place at Carnival City’s Festival Lawns on November 2, and festival organisers are delighted to announce a new feature to the line- up.

The Standard Bank Two Hours of Golden Worship which will be championed by Bishop Benjamin Dube and Dr Tumi.

Dr Tumi is a multi award-winning and multi-platinum selling gospel artist and a seasoned minister of song. He is also a producer, songwriter, instrumentalist and vocalist, who started off his music career in Sunday School decades ago.

He then went on to be a lead singer for award-winning gospel group – Intense.

In 2012 he won Best RnB Gospel Award at the SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards, where he was also nominated in four categories for his album Heart of a King.

He has just released his latest live offering called Love and Grace, a 15-track album packed with fresh new songs that he all wrote and produced.

The album has reached gold status within two months of its release.

With him on stage is Bishop Benjamin Dube music ministerial visionary, anointed songwriter, singer, music producer, mentor/father and pastor to many musicians and an inspiration to secular artists in South Africa.

He is a gospel legend of Africa with over more than 20 albums.

Dube is the founder and CEO of High Praise Centre in Boksburg — a non-profit organisation that addresses the spiritual needs of men, women and children.

At the 2009 Crown Gospel Music Awards, Dube was awarded the Best Male Artist Award and received a Lifetime Achievement Award.

One Gospel TV show also honoured him with two awards — Gospel Legend Award and the Best Contemporary Artist.

The Inaugural All White Gospel Talent search recently took place and after long and very intense two days of auditions, a young woman from eTwatwa in Daveyton, Ntokozo Dube, won herself a prize valued at R150 000 which includes a recording deal.

She will be joining many of the greats on stage at the main event.

The event starts at 10am and no alcohol will be allowed inside the venue.

Food and drinks will be on sale.
