A little Blyvooruitzicht shop became the scene of an armed robbery on Wednesday, 8 May.
The 37-year-old Ethiopian owner of the corner shop on 42nd Avenue was inside when the incident occurred at 15:00.
He was working behind the counter when two unknown men walked in, immediately pulled out a firearm and pushed him to the ground.
They stormed behind the counter and grabbed money, cigarettes and two cell phones.
The criminals then ran away.
