Making their voices heard

These residents made use of their democratic right to decide who should govern them.

“The voting process was seamless,” said Paulette Brink and Lana du Bruyn, who voted at the Fochville Civic Centre today.
As in the past many people turned up to vote at the Carletonville Civic Centre.
By midday many residents were queueing at the Blybank library to cast their votes, after problems were experienced at this voting station earlier this morning.
“We voted easily, and everything went well” said Louis and Dawid Nel, who voted at Laerskool Jongspan in Carletonville.
