Special Khutsong fitness event draws many

A special walk to Potchefstroom is next.

Many residents recently took part in a special fitness bootcamp at Duduza Park in Khutsong.

The event operated under the motto “Ride, Run, Train and Transform” and featured cycling, running, strength training, and an aerobics class.

Patrick Mabaso said the gathering demonstrated what people can achieve when they collaborate to reach for something bigger.

Partner organisations including Saddle Squad, Khotso 5km Consistency, and Lu24fit Club helped make the event possible and assisted participants in improving their fitness in various ways.

Mabaso explained that this boot camp served as a build-up to the second annual 64km Manmatter Legacy Walk to Potchefstroom, scheduled for November in support of Men’s Health Awareness Month.

This upcoming walk aims to create a safe space where men can talk openly about their everyday struggles.

Finally, Mabaso thanked everyone who participated, including the deputy mayor, Mogomutsi Sello.
