Residents must watch out in the Carletonville CD today as there will be picketing at the Merafong City Local Municipality.

A group of local businesspeople plan to picket over the fact that they are not getting jobs from the municipality.

As far as could be deternined, upset residents from Fochville will also join them.

Because of this, the municipal offices will most probably be closed while the picketers are still there.
