Khutsong South Primary School hosts successful Youth Month spelling bee

The event was hosted by ANCYL Ward 2 and SANCO, with support from educators and local leaders.

Khutsong South Primary School recently held an exciting Spelling Bee competition as part of Youth Month celebrations through a Moral Regeneration Programme.

The event was organised by Mr Tshepo Ramela, chairperson of the ANCYL in Ward 2, and Olwethu Macamba, the ward’s secretary, in collaboration with Mr Mojalefa from SANCO. The competition involved enthusiastic Grade 6 and Grade 7 learners from the school.

Special guests included Thulaganyo Khumalo from the legislature, who delivered a motivational talk, as well as Teacher Rabotapi, HOD Mr Shongwe, the principal, and members of the School Governing Body (SGB), all of whom helped ensure the event ran smoothly.

The event was a great success and inspired learners to embrace literacy and academic excellence.
