Man escapes armed robbers after walking in on crime in Oberholzer

26-year-old flees as four suspects, one armed with a knife, storm towards him during early morning home invasion

A 26-year-old man had a narrow escape when he walked in on four burglars at his home in Oberholzer last week.
The incident happened at around 01:00 on March 30. The resident, who lives in a back room on Juliana Street, was returning home after a night out when he noticed his door was open and the lights were inside.
As he approached his room, four strangers suddenly started running towards him. One of the men was armed with a knife. Luckily, the resident managed to turn and run before the group could reach him, escaping the encounter without injury.
When the man later returned to his room, he discovered the thieves had stolen a variety of electrical equipment.
