A man was hijacked at one of the traffic circles near Western Deep Levels.
The crime took place on March 31.
A resident (37) was on his way from Carletonville to Elandsridge at about 20:10.
As he neared the traffic circle closest to the old Savuka mine, a white Toyota Fortuner behind him flashed its lights at him. When the resident stopped, two armed men jumped out of the Fortuner.
They pointed firearms at the resident and forced him out of his vehicle, a red Honda Fit with Lesotho registration plates.
They then sped off, leaving him on the side of the road. Luckily, he was not injured.
