Carletonville weather: Temperatures drop to 13°C as cold front hits from May 6

The South African Weather Service forecasts a sharp temperature drop, with icy mornings and cool days expected throughout the week.

As if the fuel price hike is not enough to upset residents, they will also have to brace themselves for the cold as it seems as if winter will also be starting from tomorrow May 6.

According to the South African Weather Service, Carletonville’s maximum temperature for May 6 will plummet to only 13°C, with a minimum temperature of only 5°C.

Thursday’s maximum temperature will also be 13°C, with an even lower minimum temperature of 4°C.

Although still very cold compared to our recent weather, Friday’s maximum and minimum temperatures will be 15°C and 4°C.

Luckily the weekend’s temperatures will rise slightly, with Saturday’s minimum and maximum being 19°C and 4°C and that of Sunday being 21°C and 7°C.
