Four killed, three seriously injured in horror Carletonville crash
A Toyota Corolla carrying seven occupants crashed into a streetlight and tree near the Agnew Road and Reinecke Street intersection in the early hours of June 20, claiming four lives.
Four people died in an accident on Carletonville over the past weekend.
According to trustworthy sources, the crash occurred at about 02:28 on June 20.
The driver of the gold-coloured Toyota Corolla with six passengers inside lost control just after the four-way crossing at Agnew Road and Reinecke Street. The vehicle ploughed over a street light and then hit a tree.
Two women and a man died at the scene, while another woman died upon her arrival at Carletonville Hospital.
Three other injured people were transported to Carletonville Hospital by Gauteng Emergency Medical Services, Gladiator Distress Alert and ER24.
These patients were later transferred to Leratong Hospital due to the seriousness of their injuries.
