24-year-old man shot dead outside Carletonville restaurant

Victim was shot three times after leaving a restaurant in the Carletonville CBD, with the suspect fleeing in a yellow car.

A young man from Lesotho was brutally murdered in the Carletonville CBD this week.

The 24-year-old victim had visited the Chicago Restaurant on Emerald Street on August 14.

He walked out of the premises at 22:28, when an unknown man approached the entrance and fired three shots at him.

The attacker immediately fled the scene in a yellow car bearing a Lesotho number plate.

The victim died from his injuries at the scene.
