A talented young model from Carletonville has taken a major step in her modelling journey after being chosen as a finalist in the Mr & Miss Ace Models International pageant.

Rejanke Helm, a Grade Four pupil at Laerskool Dagbreek, received the exciting news during the organisation’s inaugural National Finalist Workshop at the Rockfields Theatre in Centurion.

Earlier this year, hopefuls competed through Ace Models franchises nationwide, earning semi-finalist spots before advancing to the national stage. The recent workshop served as the official launch of a comprehensive development programme.

Finalists will spend the coming months taking part in sessions centred on personal growth, confidence-building, personal branding, social media, sponsorship, professionalism, runway skills, and pageant preparation. The event also allowed contestants from different regions to meet, fostering a strong sense of community and friendship.

Reflecting on her achievement, Rejanke expressed immense gratitude. She stated that she is honoured and thrilled to be a Miss ACE 2026 finalist, calling the journey a dream come true. Having loved modelling from a young age, she explained that it has taught her self-belief, hard work, kindness, and how to build lasting friendships. Her personal motto is to dream big, stay kind, and shine with confidence, while hoping to inspire others to follow their dreams.

“I want to be someone who makes a positive difference, inspiring others to follow their dreams with confidence and kindness and showing that true beauty comes from having a caring heart, confidence, and a willingness to help others. I would like to thank my family, friends, mentors, and everyone who is supporting and believing in me. I can’t wait to continue making wonderful memories, learning new things, and I look forward to making every moment of this experience count and proudly representing Miss ACE 2026.
