The Book Club Sessions in partnership with Khutsong Literary Club hosted an interesting session on
Saturday September 26 at OOOMOSADI Holdings.

The theme was Culture vs Tradition where discussions took place for the day. The session began with an introduction by the host Kamohelo Mokoma as well as an ice breaker where the attendees were made to feel comfortable and welcome in the creative space.

There were guest speakers such as Poet Seun Molwelang, who gave a Tswana praise poem, and also shared about different South African cultures as well as their traditional practices and entrepreneur Tshegofatso Mosadi who also shared her perspective on culture as well as Vibration Taylor, who spoke about learning different cultures through media and the Hip Hop culture as an artist.

There was also a debate where the audience was divided into two groups and had opposing topics about South African languages.

The intimate session was concluded with closing general remarks from the attendees regarding the way forward where they also expressed their emotions about their experience of the session.
