Carletonville Swimming Club on the go

The Carletonville Swimming Club is ready for the new season and has already started practising.

According to the club’s coach, Gerrie Grové, the swimming season officially started on 1 September. Club members are already taking part in their first big swim, a gala in Randfontein, on Saturday. “This event will be the trials to determine which swimmers will get into the Gauteng swimming team,” he says. The club’s first open water swim is in December.
The members practise at the Carletonville municipal swimming pool from 17:00 on weekdays.
Any swimmers from six years old are welcome.
