Problems at Carletonville and Khutsong police stations

There are currently problems at both the Carletonville police stations that might make it difficult for residents who want to get in contact with the police.

The phones at the Carletonville police station are currently out of order until further notice. Residents who want to get in contact with them must please phone the Welverdiend police station at 018 7840023. The signal at Welverdiend is, however, also bad. If you struggle, dial 10111 to get to the police’s central call centre.

In the meantime all communities serviced by the Khutsong police station are advised that this police station’s Community Service Centre has been temporarily closed after one of its members tested positive for Covid-19. The Community Service Centre will be operating from the detective board room  which is located elsewhere inside the police station. The community is advised to call 10111 for all emergencies and complaints which needs to be attended by Khutsong police station or the sector vehicle number at 071 675 7189/071 675 7372.

The telephone lines at Khutsong police station community service centre will not be accessible for the duration of the closure. The building will be undergoing decontamination and the station will be operational soon The SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this. The Station Commander Commander can be contacted at: 076 016 0530.
