The police station was closed earlier this afternoon after another staff member tested positive for the coronavirus.

Decontamination of the facility will be done tomorrow. In the meantime all calls to the station is diverted to the Welverdiend police station, which can be reached directly at 018 784 0023.

Carletonville police station was also closed due to Covid-19 on 29 December.
