The Merafong City Local Municipality now has a new fleet of bakkies to help with service delivery.
The municipality says it handed over 11 new Nissan NP200 bakkies to personnel to deal with service delivery issues across the municipal area.
The bakkies were handed over on 19 October.
“These will improve the quality of service as the municipality has been struggling to maintain the standard of services required by the city,” says the executive mayor, Ms Nozuko Best.
She urged the employees to take good care of the vehicles as they would help to improve the level of service delivery to the community.
