A house robber struck in Oberholzer last weekend.
A resident (32) of a guest house on Eggo Jan Street had just arrived home at about 03:40 on Saturday 20 April. He (the victim) was walking down the corridor when an unknown man approached him.
The intruder wore a balaclava and spoke Zulu.
The resident struggled with the intruder to get him out of the house, but the thug pulled out a firearm and shot him in his right shoulder.
The criminal then ran away empty-handed.
