The Waterstone Cricket Academy and chess teams continue to make the school proud with straight wins in all of their competitions.
This comes as the school’s chess players successfully competed in the St Martins Winter Sports Festival on Saturday, June 2 winning against seven other schools in the competition.
The Waterstone Cricket Academy will also be taking part in the last round of the regional cricket week.
“Hard work has definitely paid off for the Waterstone Cricket Academy boys’ team as nine players were selected for the last round of trials for the Central Gauteng Lions Junior Provincial/Regional Cricket Week,” Waterstone marketing manager Shandene Hinkley said.
The school is proud to have the biggest representation in the region in the u-13 category.
