WARD 54: Notice of Ward Committee Elections
It is compulsory for all participants to produce their valid South African ID book/ card.
The City of Johannesburg, recommends specific mechanisms for the involvement of communities in local government. One of the mechanisms is the promulgation of a ward participatory system through ward committees.
It is in this regard that the Office of the Speaker invite the community of WARD 54 to a public meeting to elect ward committee members in the following 5 vacant portfolios:
- Economic Development
- Transport
- development Planning
- Infrastructure & Services
- Community Development
The public meeting is scheduled as follows:
Date: 06 October 2018
Time: 10am
Venue: Crown Gardens Recreation Center
It is compulsory for all participants to produce their valid South African ID book/ card.
NB only registered voters in WARD 54 will be allowed to vote.
