Lara’s Travel Agency gives to St Mary’s Children’s Home
“I’m very happy I can do this for them and wish them continued success in their studies.”
Lara Casasola of Lara’s Travel Agency at Mall of the South heeded the call from St Mary’s Children’s Home for their need of three laptops for three of their young adults, who are currently studying through Unisa.
Elvie Moreira, a friend of St Mary’s Children’s Home, told her friend Lara of St Mary’s plea and she immediately responded.
“I had three laptops in good working order which I was going to sell, but when I heard about the youngsters at St Mary’s needing laptops to assist them with their studies, I decided I’d much rather they be given to a good cause.
“Thank you Lara for your generosity,” said Sonja Harmse, director of St Mary’s. “The three youngsters are studying hard, two to become teachers and one to go into IT, and these laptops will assist them greatly.”
Lara said, “I’m very happy I can do this for them and wish them continued success in their studies.”
