Re-opening of City of Johannesburg libraries

Internal usage of library books is not permitted.

After closing for lockdown due to COVID-19, the City of Johannesburg public libraries remained closed in line with health and safety protocols.

As from Monday 21 December to Wednesday 23 December 2020 the City of Johannesburg libraries will open for the borrowing of books.

Members of the public may borrow library books at the following Johannesburg libraries between the hours of 09:00–16:00 from Monday to Friday.

Books can also be collected from the library after a telephonic request.
