Meredale teens show love on Mandela Day

Meredale’s Tshiamo Modisane (19) and Lindiwe Tyili (19) through their organisation, Sizanathi Winter Organisation, donated food and clothes to the less fortunate on Mandela Day.

They said even after 28 years of democracy poverty and unemployment are still hitting hard.

“We chose to take a different route by donating to the needy who live under the bridges and in the informal settlement by being part of the 67 Minutes of Mandela Day campaign,” explained Tshiamo.

They would like to continue helping the less fortunate.
