Trees need to be looked after

What can be done about the damage done to the trees in Michelle Avenue between the R59 highway and Hennie Alberts Street?

The row of Karee trees on the pavement was recently pruned, but also stripped of large parts of its bark in the process. Many of them will likely die.

Could it be brought to the Parks Department’s attention that they need to focus on more careful pruning, please? So sad when 20-year-old trees are literally damaged to die off.
