In two weeks, Maxie Kruger rallied people and collected paint donations to repaint Broken Wings’ building.

Broken Wings is an association for adults with disabilities and they completely run on funds from the community.

“I drove past their premises one day, saw the state of the place and immediately I started phoning around,” said Maxie.

Soon, workers started to plaster the walls and on November 20 volunteers came together to paint the front part of the Broken Wings premises.

Maxie, with members from Broken Wings, 2 Maxx Aluminium, Boanerges Bikers Club and Bikerhart Inc Radio, spent their Saturday at the Broken Wings premises to give it a facelift.

Thank you

“Thank you to Willie Labuschagne from 2 Maxx Aluminium and Glass, presidential pair and their club members of the Boanerges Bikers Club, DJ Minx from Bikerhart Inc Radio, Mack’s Paint and Hardware, Lize Labuschagne and everyone else who helped to make this day possible. Thank you for contributing and giving your time for this good cause,” said Maxie.
