Water meter erected in the driveway removed
Joburg Water promised to look at the matter.

The water meter that was erected in Rosettenville residents’ driveway was removed.
According to Joburg Water spokesperson, Eleanor Mavimbela, the meter was removed from the driveway on Monday, January 17.

This is what Rosettenville resident John Cleet is asking himself after Joburg Water contractors put the meter in his driveway on January 12.
“I was in my backyard when the contractors were working on my pavement. To my surprise, when I went out to check, the meter was erected right in the middle of my driveway. I mean, who does that?” he asked.
The COURIER alerted Joburg Water and its spokesperson, Eleanor Mavimbela, said, “I will escalate to the depot and provide feedback.”
