Should government lift Covid-19 regulations?

We asked the public whether or not they think it's time for regulations around Covid-19 to be uplifted.

This is what they had to say:

Gawie Potgieter: “Masks and sanitising must stay, but sport stadiums should be opened. Vaccinations and job creation should be the priority.”
Alicia Valentine: “In a sense, yes, but there are still a lot of active cases, but they can start removing some of the regulations.”
Sonja Coetzer: “From the point of view of someone who has to wear a mask all day, every day, it is time to lift those regulations together with the state of emergency. Sanitising can stay.”
Daren Potgieter: “Yes, it’s time to lift the regulations, as the new regulations don’t make sense.”
Anna Mvakmill: “No, regulations should stay as it is for the time being. We will take it as it comes in the next few weeks.”
Ferdi Goosen: “I think regulations can be lifted and I believe that many of the regulations that were put in place were totally unnecessary.”
Shani Milne: “Yes, I think it’s time for the regulations to be lifted, as it’s not normal and many people lost their jobs due to Covid-19.”
Nicolas Mayekiso: “The regulations must stay, as Covid-19 is still active and there are still cases being reported.”
Jan Coetzer: “The idea of masks and sanitising should stay, but the state of emergency should be lifted.”
