SAPS and partners speak to the leaders of Academic Success
SAPS Brackendowns joined hands with representatives from its local CPF, the station's youth desk and the Fighting for Societal Health to visit the Academic Success Private School.
They addressed the members of the school’s RCL on leadership as part of the My Badge, My Pride campaign. The campaign focuses on the importance of being chosen to wear a badge.
They were addressed on the difference between responsibility and accountability and the weight of wearing a badge carries.
“We as people who wear a badge are constantly in the public eye and what we do doesn’t only reflect on us as individuals but the organisation as well,” said WO Gerhard Cornelius.
“The same counts for school leaders as their actions represent their school’s name. Wear your badge with pride! Everyone is watching!”
