Shave and spray to help Oliver battle cancer

The Creative Academy Group hosted a Spray and Shave and Cupcakes for Kids with Cancer drive on February 25.

The drive was hosted to help young Oliver Shrives, from Creative Academy, who is battling neuroblastoma.

The team from Cupcakes for Kids with Cancer contributed 3 682 cupcakes, which were sold across the four Creative campuses. With this effort they raised a whopping R55 230.

The school also joined forces with Kylie and Co Hairdressing who provided the necessary hair equipment to make the event a success.

“The Shrives family is our chosen beneficiary and will receive all the proceeds raised by this event,” said Jenna Axsel, owner of Creative Academy.

“The gratitude we have for our families who supported this day is overwhelming.”
