3 arrested, wanted vehicle recovered in Mondeor fraud case

A FOX Security and JMPD operation has led to a major intelligence-driven breakthrough in a Mondeor fraud case.

FOX Security and the JMPD arrested three people and found a wanted vehicle linked to a fraud case in Mondeor on December 2.

Guided by received intelligence, License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras tracked the suspect vehicle, paving the way for a critical breakthrough in the investigation.

The three people and the vehicle were transported to the Mondeor SAPS and were positively identified by the complainant. They face fraud charges.

“Great teamwork and co-ordination between our units and FOX Security led to these arrests. We are committed to tackling fraud and ensuring those involved face the law,” said Xolani Fihla, the spokesperson for the JMPD.
