The 14th Annual Rally of the South, hosted by the District on February 24 at Bracken Park Hall in Alberton, was a significant event which focused on raising awareness about alcoholism and its dangers.
With a theme centered around ‘Came to Believe,’ the rally aimed to provide a platform for individuals to share their experiences with alcoholism and recovery. Despite the solemnity of the topic, the event buzzed with an atmosphere of camaraderie and support.
This was an anonymous event, and the Alberton Record followed the protocols of not showing faces and including names of attendees.
One member highlighted the significance of the event in educating people about alcoholism.
