Alberton Lions Club hosts Elvis tribute fundraiser in Glenanda

The Alberton Lions Club hosted a fundraiser on March 2 under the theme of ‘The Elvis We Remember You Tour’ at the Glenanda Primary School.

The crowd had a blast, enjoying the talents of tribute artists Wayne Venter, Charl Vegas, Andrea Giglio, and Tony de King.

The fundraiser was in aid of paediatric cancer, a cause close to the hearts of Lions International.

Alberton Lion’s president Mukesh Dayah informed guests about the needs of their beneficiaries and the purpose of their fundraisers.

“We serve the community and make a difference where needed,” said Dayah.

Special guests, Mrs SA finalists Rea Seabela, Zimkitha Rampai, and Charlotte Walaza-Machethe, joined the club for the afternoon.

The club thanked everyone who supported the cause.
