Here are some tips to help you prepare:

• Store at least 2-3 liters of water per person per day for drinking, cooking, and hygiene.

• Use water-efficient appliances and fixtures to reduce water consumption.

• Avoid using hot water systems during peak hours to minimise strain on the water supply.

• Consider using alternative sources of water, such as rainwater harvesting systems or water tanks.

• Conserve water during maintenance.

During the maintenance period, residents are urged to conserve water by:

• Taking shorter showers and fixing leaks to avoid wasting water.

• Using a bucket to catch water while waiting for it to heat up.

• Avoiding unnecessary water usage, such as washing cars or watering gardens.

• Using water-efficient washing machines and dishwashers.
