Moti Cares Foundation donates 3 500 blankets to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital
3 500 blankets, 1 000 loaves of bread, and sweet packs were donated as part of one of Gauteng’s largest Winter Blanket Drive handovers.
In celebration of Nelson Mandela Day, the Moti Cares Foundation brought warmth and dignity to thousands of patients at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
The foundation donated 3 500 blankets, ensuring every ward and patient received one, 1 000 loaves of bread and sweet packs for the paediatric wards.
This initiative marked one of the largest handovers in the foundation’s Winter Blanket Drive, which has now distributed 18 000 blankets across Gauteng.

According to Zunaid Moti, the foundation’s CEO, “Small acts of kindness can bring great comfort to those in need. We are proud to have brought warmth and dignity to the patients at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. Our Winter Blanket Drive is more than just a donation. It is a reminder that we are all connected and that our actions can make a real difference in the lives of others.”
The Moti Cares Foundation’s efforts have made a significant impact on the lives of patients at the hospital, providing them with the warmth and care they need during the cold winter months.
