Join the colourful cause: Fun run for hope at Thaba Eco Trails

Mark your calendar for a meaningful day of movement, laughter, and giving back. All fitness levels are welcome, and every heart will be united in one mission: hope through early detection.

Get ready for a day of colour, movement and meaning as Thaba Eco Trails transforms into a vibrant celebration of life, fitness and hope on 27 September, from 10:00 to 17:00.

Whether you are an avid runner, a casual walker or simply showing up for the good vibes, everyone is welcome at this family-friendly event in support of Breast Intentions’ Give Hope. Fund a Scan campaign, an initiative dedicated to funding mammograms for women in need.

Participants can look forward to a scenic 5km fun run or walk winding through the natural beauty of Thaba Eco Trails. Along the route, colour powder stations will add bursts of joy and energy, creating unforgettable photo moments and lasting memories.

The fun continues at the finish line with a live DJ and entertainment to keep spirits high. A variety of food and drink stalls will be available, offering tasty treats to enjoy with family and friends.

Entry fees are R165 for adults, R65 for children aged six to twelve, and free for kids under six. The first 500 entries will also receive an exclusive goody bag, so early registration is encouraged.

Organisers are encouraging all participants to arrive dressed in white, the perfect canvas for a colourful transformation by the end of the race.

More than just a fun day out, this event is a powerful reminder of the impact early detection can have in the fight against breast cancer.

Every ticket sold contributes directly to providing life-saving mammograms, making each step taken a step toward hope.
