Mondeor Primary’s Fun Walk inspires healthy living

Families and neighbours joined forces to support a good cause at Mondeor Primary School's.

Mondeor Primary School recently hosted a Family Fun Walk, giving the community the chance to walk together for a good cause.

The event fostered unity, encouraged interaction, and promoted a spirit of care and community development.

Its main objectives were to support healthy living, encourage collaboration, and educate children about the importance of these values.

The walk began at the school and took participants on a scenic route through the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve. Afterward, the celebration continued back at the school with food stalls, entertainment, and exciting prizes and giveaways.

Every ticket purchased contributed directly to Mondeor Primary School’s initiatives and projects, helping to create a better learning environment for its learners.

Principal Tinyiko F Tlhavani said: “We are delighted with the way the event brought everyone together. It was wonderful to see families enjoying themselves while supporting a positive cause. Events like this help strengthen our community and teach our children the importance of working together.”
