Nova Pioneer embraces the joy of learning beyond the classroom
Nova Pioneer welcomed spring with a vibrant school picnic that united learners, teachers and families.
Nova Pioneer learners recently celebrated the arrival of spring with a vibrant school picnic, bringing together learners, teachers and families for a day filled with laughter, sunshine and community spirit.
The event was more than just a fun gathering; it reflected the school’s commitment to its cultural principle of Joy of Learning.
Set against blooming flowers and bright skies, learners enjoyed a day of play, connection and togetherness.
From sharing meals to engaging in outdoor activities, the picnic created a space where young Novaneers could build friendships, strengthen bonds and experience learning outside the classroom environment.
Nova Pioneer communication coordinator, Mofenyi Kgamane, said the school believes learning happens everywhere, not just in textbooks or classrooms.
“Events like our spring picnic allow learners to explore creativity, collaboration and curiosity in joyful ways. These experiences stay with them long after the day is over,” said Mofenyi.
The school’s Joy of Learning principle emphasises creating meaningful experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence and nurture a love for discovery.
