Stepping Stone Hospice spreads Christmas cheer through giving drive

This Christmas, Stepping Stone Hospice invites the community to share the spirit of giving by donating toys, decorations, clothing and furniture to help fund care for patients and families in need.

As the festive season approaches, Stepping Stone Hospice is calling on the community to embrace the spirit of Christmas by donating items that can bring joy and comfort to others.

The Hospice is appealing for contributions to support its ongoing mission of providing compassionate care to patients facing life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones.

The collection drive welcomes donations of toys, gently used festive decorations, pre-loved clothing, and second-hand home or office furniture.

These donated goods, often tucked away in cupboards or storage spaces, will find new life and purpose through the Hospice Charity Shop.

Funds raised from the sale of these items will help sustain the Hospice’s essential services, ensuring that those navigating their most difficult journeys receive the dignity, comfort, and support they deserve.

Adding to the festive spirit, the Hospice is beautifully adorned with decorations lovingly crafted by Lee Fourie, a reminder of the warmth and care that define this special place.

Collection of donations can be arranged by contacting Stepping Stone Hospice on 010 442 5059 or via WhatsApp on 083 289 0380.

This season, every teddy bear, coat, and ornament can help make a meaningful difference.
