Residents of Wards 56, 57, and 124 (B) in Region F are urged to attend and participate.

The City of Johannesburg is calling on residents of Ward 56, 57 and 124 (B) in Region F to participate in a Community-Based Planning (CBP) session.

The event aims to engage the community in discussing and shaping the city’s priorities for the 2026 Integrated Development Plan (IDP).

Event details:

Date: November 15

Time: 10:00 to 14:00

Venue: South Rand Recreation Centre, Geneva Road, South Hills

The session will provide feedback on previous submissions and review ward priorities for the 2022-24 financial year. Residents will have the opportunity to discuss and update submissions for the 2026 IDP process.

The City of Johannesburg extends an invitation to all residents of the specified wards to attend and contribute to the planning process. Community-Based Planning is a participatory approach that allows residents to influence decisions affecting their areas. The IDP is a critical tool for the city to address community needs and priorities.

Residents are encouraged to participate and make their voices heard on matters affecting their community’s development.
