Focus-Team JHB seeks support to feed families this December
The organisation is calling on the community to donate essential groceries for food parcels and holiday outreach initiatives.
FOCUS-TEAM JHB is calling on the community to support its efforts in feeding families and spreading joy this festive season.
The organisation’s pantry stocks are running low, and they urgently need donations of essential items.
The items needed for donation include:
• Sugar
• Speckled beans
• Macaroni
• Lentils
• Rice
• Mealie rice
• Canned beans
• Flavouring or soup mix
• Soya mince
• Mealie meal
• Chicken or meat
These items will be used for food parcels, weekly feeding programmes, and the popular Meal in a Jar project.
FOCUS-TEAM JHB is also preparing for its annual Festive Season Sweet Run, aiming to reach moe than 5 000 children across Gauteng.
Donations can be dropped off at the FOCUS-TEAM JHB Operations and Community Centre (OCC) at 1 Lindhorst Street, Towerby.
