Naturena Primary School celebrates young authors
Partnership with MVisionaries leads to published storybooks.
Naturena Primary School hosted a special event to celebrate the achievements of its young authors as part of The Young Authors Project.
The book launch took place on November 28 at Naturena Primary School.
The event was the official book launch of storybooks written and published by the school’s learners through a partnership with MVisionaries Publishers.
This marks the second consecutive year that Naturena Primary School is celebrating published authors among its learners, following the success of the project in 2024.
The school prides itself on nurturing talent within its learners and sees this event as a celebration of creativity, literacy, and the powerful voice of the next generation of African storytellers.

One of the young authors, Rethabile Khumalo, expressed her pride at being a published author.
“I love reading and writing, the opportunity to write my own story book is so amazing to me. I hope those who read my book will enjoy it. I want to inspire other young authors to read and write,” said Rethabile.
Desire Mogosoane, the founder of MVisionary Publishers, outlined the project’s importance.
“I want to create authors, storytellers and most importantly, free thinkers. By encouraging these young learners to read and write, they develop critical and creative thinking skills. Five schools have participated in the project, and in 2026, we want to add more schools,” said Desire.
