Sharing Kindness Foundation feeds 150 matrics at Elethu Themba Public School
A local foundation supported matric learners with meals, extra classes, and essential items to help them succeed at school.
The Sharing Kindness Foundation (SKF) provides meals to 150 matric learners at the Elethu Themba Public School in Eikenhof every Saturday.
The learners attend extra classes and receive meals to ensure they eat before the sessions begin.
To continue this programme, the foundation relies on donated food. It supports communities through kindness and donations, focusing on education and nutrition for those in need.
Members organise regular food drives and partnerships to help schools like Elethu Themba Public School and others around Johannesburg south.

The SKF also donated new school shoes to learners at the school, made possible through donations received from the Alberton Lions.
Nic Janse van Rensberg, the CEO of SKF, spoke about the initiative, “Learners need a good meal so they can be healthy and perform to the best of their abilities. We want to make sure they eat a proper meal.”
“The SKF has been such a help to our school. The food and school shoes truly make a difference,” said principal Phumzile Mhlongo.
