Waterstone College ready as the Curro Halala Cup kicks off

The competition continues with regional round-robin playoffs on 23 May 2026.

It added greater weight to the pool phase and sharpened the battle for top four finishes that determine progression into the regional playoff stage.

In Gauteng 3, matches were held at Waterstone College, with four schools competing across two pools. Pool A saw Curro Soshanguve and CBC Mount Edmund go head-to-head, whilst Pool B featured Curro Wilgeheuwel, Steyn City School, and Waterstone College.

The host school finished the weekend at the top of their pool, setting up a strong hand heading into the regional playoffs.
